Katey attended London School of Musical Theatre. Whilst training, her credits included The Duchess in Alice in Wonderland, Mary Flynn in Merrily We Roll Along and Freida in Fabula. This will be Katey’s fifth show with HMM. She is very excited about playing someone who is not crazy or dead! Previous roles include a Boylan Sister in HMM's 2016 summer show Annie, The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd in March 2017 and Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof in July 2017. Nick Ford - Ko-Ko
Nick’s last performance with HMM was the title role in Sweeney Todd, which had followed an attempt to take a break from performing - an attempt that lasted 8 months... More recently he swapped sharp razors for razor-sharp wit (...sarcasm...) as John Major in The Audience. Nick has been heavily involved with HMM for 20 years and this is the 50th HMM show that he has been involved in (including 15 as MD and 2 as Director). He has been lucky enough to enjoy a number of parts over the years including Kipps in Half A Sixpence, Higgins in My Fair Lady, Ko-Ko in The Mikado and Billy Bigelow in Carousel (all with HMM), Trekkie / Nicky in Avenue Q (for the KMT) and Leo Frank in Parade (with Forest Musical Theatre Company).

Ellen O'Shea - Katisha
Ellen started performing at the age of 6 and has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican and Palladium with VOX and at the O2 with the Les Miserables cast. The Mikado marked Ellen's HMM debut in 2013 and she is delighted to be back as Katisha in this hotter version. She has enjoyed principal roles with us in Calamity Jane, The Likes of Us and The Witches of Eastwick. Recently she has branched out to appear with IODS in South Pacific and took a trip to the seaside to play Rizzo in Solomon Artistes' Grease at The Palace, Westcliff. She is excited to be coming home to HMM and playing such a great role.

Dave Neary - Pooh-Bah
Dave has been a member of HMM for just a year, having joined the group for last year’s production of Sweeney Todd. Since then he has enjoyed playing Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof, and singing in our last concert, West End Wishlist. Dave spent many years performing with CADOS in Chingford, during which time he enjoyed playing roles including Wild Bill Hickok in Calamity Jane, Reecey in Our House and Cinderella’s Prince in Into the Woods. He was also a Gentleman of Japan in their production of Hot Mikado at the KMT in 2001 and is delighted to be returning to this fantastic show 17 years on.

If she could have dinner with any historical character it would be Jack the Ripper, and would rather fight a horse-sized rat than a dog-sized cockroach.

He has gone on to play many lead roles for HMM, including Alfie Doolittle in My Fair Lady and Daddy Warbucks in Annie.
