Havering Music Makers presented its first ever Sondheim musical with the incredible Sweeney Todd. Originated by Angela Lansbury and Len Cariou, many others have attempted the phenomenal characters of the demon barber and his sidekick, Mrs Lovett, including Johnny Depp & Helena Bonham Carter in the 2007 film and Michael Ball & Imelda Staunton in the 2012 London revival.

We had an absolutely fantastic time and the audience reaction was brilliant - what more could we ask? After a mammoth publicity effort and push we reached ticket sales of 65%, which we were very pleased with. You can see some rehearsal and promo pictures below as well as meeting our cast.
